There are those films that you want to see because they are based on a real story and you’re curious how one sees the story from their perspective. This time the situation was a bit different for me. I watched the whole film and then, at the end, I saw the information on the screen that it is based on a real story. And it hit me even more. Perhaps it’s actually a plus I didn’t know it before watching. *SMALL SPOILER* The inspiration for this film was Jerzy Górski, a triathlete, who used to be a drug addict and, after working hard for about 6 years, he managed to win Double Ironman Triathlon in Huntsville in 1990. If you don’t know about this triathlon, no worries, I didn’t as well. You can always read more about it, but shortly, it’s an incredibly difficult and physically demanding triathlon. *END OF SPOILER* I wouldn’t like to tell you more, because you won’t feel any excitement watching the film. However, if you’re looking for a very inspirational story (which is btw well-acted, especially the main character played by Jakub Gierszał), then you just have to check this one out. And if you (or anyone from your surrounding) have ever had any problems with drugs or addiction to them, then I bet you may experience the film even “stronger” than me.
