I’m a person who watches films.
Some time ago, I had a plan to become a professional film critic, but at some point I realised I’d have to change the way I am to fit into the world of such critics. As much I appreciate eloquent connoisseurs’ reviews, I believe their texts do not reach out to ordinary people. And my personal rule in cinema is…

Films are for everyone
That is why in 2019 I decided to create my own space on the Internet, where I could share my passion for cinema and express my points of view with whoever wants to broaden their horizons. My texts are not typical reviews – I focus on catching your attention and recommending you the films I personally believe are worth watching. My idea is to make you feel welcome on my page and give you posts that remind you of chatting with your friend in a coffee shop. No formal language, no overly complicated metaphors, no condescending approach – this is a peaceful and open space for cinephiles and people who simply enjoy spending their time with films. You may find recommendations of different genres, because I love watching whatever I feel like seeing at a given moment. I’ll be glad to introduce you to some cinema classics, but also joke about a tacky yet comforting rom-com.
If you’re wondering who’s responsible for this page – let me keep it a small secret. Because I believe my background, gender, age or nationality shouldn’t be important for you to find my texts inspiring, thought-provoking, or perhaps even outrageous – can happen. Remember, whatever I’m sharing here is my personal opinion and you have the right to create your own. We agree? Lovely. We don’t? High five, let’s discuss it. You can always reach out to me as I also created my page with the idea to gather a small community of cinephiles where we could exchange comments and try to change each other’s minds. If you’re a filmmaker, you’re welcome to contact me as well. I’m more than happy to support independent artists and discover less popular productions.
Whoever you are, it’s pleasure having you here. I hope you’ll find some films to watch. Enjoy!
Yours,
S.
